The Institute is Private self-finaned, independent, private, autonomous body registered under the societies of Registration Act 1956.. No financial aid is available from any Government or private agency. This Institute is pride of Uttarakhand.

      The Institute was started as a small venture with few teachers and select number of courses. Presently conducted courses are approved by AICTE  and the Institure is afficiated to  Board of Technical Education Uttarakhand.  Presently the Institute has good strength of girl students and efficient faculty members.

       The objective of the Institute is to work for the economic upliftment of women in society through imparting technical vocational education and to help them to become financially Independent. The courses offered are vocational in nature. Those who successfully complete the course are capable of either setting up their own small scale business, enterprise or seek employment.

       In order to help them as entrepreneurs, Lectures and discussions on successful financial management and entrepreneurship have been incorporated into the syllabus to assist students in finding suitable employment. The Polytechnic tries to help in job arrangement by arranging campus interviews from time to time. The college has also tied up with some job placement agencies.

       The Sansthan takes care of women from all walks of life and a vast age group from girls just pass out of school to elderly women with children.
As these courses are Government recognized, the students are eligible to apply for any Govt. Jobs besides, exploring private and self-ventures.
