One student of Modern Office Management & Secretarial Practice got 2nd position whereas one student of Interior Decoration & Design and one student of modern Office Management & Secretarial Practice were placed at 3rd position in overall merit of non engineering stream of Utttranchal Board of Technical Education, Roorkee.

         Final Year result declared in July 2005.

        Our student of Textile Design has brought honors to the Institute by getting sixth position in overall merit of engineering and non engineering stream of Uttraranchal Board. 2140 students had appeared in the examination.

        The GB members were informed about the outstanding performance of our students in State Level Sports held at Roorkee from 21st Feb. to 23rd Feb.2005. 25 teams participated and the participants were more than 500. Our students participated for the very first time. The medals won by them are as under:-

1. Relay race (100 x 4) - Gold Medal
2. Javelin throw - silver Medal
3. Shot-put - Silver Medal
4. 100 meter race - Bronze Medal
5. Group dance - Bronze Medal

       Our students were highly appreciated for their march past and discipline. MS. Poonam Negi, who teaches management subject, took extra efforts in selecting & training the students at a very short notice of only 4 days. She also took the teams to Roorkee accompanied by Ms. Poonam Sundriyal.

        MPPS participated by having its stall in Basant Mela organised by ONGC Ladies Club on 12.3.05. Items such as Apron, Napkins, woolen socks etc. prepared by students were sold.
